From the scenario, five to six cars including few commercial buses were involved in the accident resulting to loss of lives.
our correspondent spoke to few people that witnessed the tragic event this is what miss aishat had this to say “So I was caught in Ojuelegba traffic thinking this was the same traffic as always, then a guy came to tell us that there’s been an accident, a tanker carrying plywood fell off and squashed a Jeep and commercial bus killing people. I became quiet cos I was under that same bridge”
The Ojuelegba Bridge is temporarily shut to traffic this night, June 19, 2018, due to a simulation exercise carried out by NEMA, LASTMA, the police, the FRSC and other agencies of government.

“The objective of the exercise is to achieve a coordinated response among these agencies, which are usually the first responders in emergency situations.

Accident from the particular bridge is getting to much.. Cars,buses,trailers have all fallen fro. This bridge......


I think the Govt has always been too busy to care...it sucks though.. People are losing lives
