Our govt doesn't care about the lives and properties of the citizens.

They sincerely don't care and this is quite appalling

Do the citizens also care?
If the driver of d truck has been arrested b4 d incident,
It's u d citizens dat will be sympathizing wit him and blaming road safety or LASTMA 4 doing der jobs.

Abeg, how you take get Scandinavian visa?

That is the major thing now.
Bros I dont know how to talk am or where to start cos immigration to Scandinavia has really changed not for good. Generally in Europe if you have been following the news. Infact during elections here in Europe, campaign is a major issue parties use to get votes. I must say this Syrian conflict has forever changed the immigration situation not for good. Infact where I am living, the govt is just waiting for the Syrian war to end if it will ever so they wud send all the refugees back. They are doing and have done same with the Iraqis here as the war especially with ISIS is over and many areas are now under govt control.
Well if u ve the money u can come here for studies but no guarantee as u ve to battle with learning the language.

Is it the first or second or third time containers are falling off trucks and crushing people? Those in charge know but do nothing about it. Action will only be taken if someone in position or their immediate family member is crushed. We should know this by now. Change has to come from the bottom....it is for us to organize in our communities and set one day or two blockage of all container trucks. That will get the attention of the truck owners....choke their money flow...they will call on the governor or whoever has the power. .. then what will they do? They can choose meeting the demands of we the people...or risk being voted out of office. We have that power....left for us to organize and use it.

It's not just about unlatched containers.

There should be a Road Safety policy that stipulates the age of trucks that can be used to transport these containers. Most of the trucks involved in these accidents are old and rickety.

An old truck would probably find it difficult to move smoothly and it;s handling difficulty will definitely lead to an accident

Happy birthday.
