The Buhari led administration and it policies is built around the survival of an ordinary Nigerian and common man for their hope and abundant life to be sustained in welfare, hospitality and conducive environment for successful engagement among all being.

President Muhammad Buhari have demonstrated in all ramifications sense of maturity, responsibility and responsiveness going by the speech he made during his inauguration that "he belongs to everybody and he belongs to nobody". The present imbroglio and power tussle between the Executives and Federal Law-makers symbolizes egotism and power playing politics that negate the content of our democracy.

The Executive led by Buhari in all fairness have justified the definition of Democracy by allowing level playing ground while the Legislators in the other hand have demonstrated that they are enemy of progress, cankerworm, devourer and parasite to sustainable Economic Growth, Infrastructural Development, Laudable Health improvement, Quality and Qualitative Education and Agricultural Development as analyse by the budget.

When the budget was presented by the President to the Legislators on November 7, 2017 for passage, the budget was kept for 6months without attending to based on the reasons best known to the Legislators. However, the budget was padded and the figures were inflated to suit their selfish interest. There was unjustifiable and unreasonable delayed before the budget was finally passed and released to the president on 20th of June, 2018.

The National Assembly overburdening Federal Government with #578billion projects meant for States and Local Government. The Federal Law-makers in their evil manners subsequently made reduction to #347billion in the allocation to 4,700 projects submitted to them for consideration and introduced 6,403 projects of their own amounting to #578billion.

My major concern is the reduction of Enugu Airport Terminal Construction from 2 Billion to 500 million and the passage of this budget is been led by the Deputy Senate President Ike Ekweremadu who is representing Enugu West, Gilbert Nnaji (Enugu East) and Utazi Godfrey Chukwuka (Enugu North) were all there muted due to bribery, greediness, avaricious and corruption that has become part of them.
My question is "who is marginalizing who?"
Is it the President that meant well for the people of this region or the pretending bench-warming Legislators representing this region?
And all these go with all other developmental projects that are meant for South East which I cannot be mentioning here.

Secondly, the reduction in the take-off grant of Maritime University and 2nd Niger Bridge is another issues that required public sympathy and concerns. If laudable projects like this as mentioned above are trade with selfishness and parochialism, i wonder the level of corruption embedded in our federal law-makers. The same thing is applicable to Lagos/Ibadan Express Way and other life changing projects proposed by Buhari's administration.

My Position: It is known to all Nigerians that our law-breaker who claim to be law-makers are the major problems causing great setback for the development, betterment and progress of this country.

Mobilization and sensitization for better Nigeria where common man and average Nigerian will experience abundant life and prosperity should begin and every concerns Nigeria must identify with it. If we fight we may win, but if we don't fight that means we have lost already. Saraki, Dogara and their loyalist are not more than 180 million Nigerians. Let us reason together, let say NO to their anti-government campaign and let cement victory for the betterment of our country.

GOD BLESS NIGERIA!

The NASS has always been a major problem to the development and advancement of the nation. It is filled with collection of corrupt, selfish, brainless people. They are more concerned about their pocket and and their selfish gains than the interest of the country. How can such arm of government inflate funds at their own advantage and deflate funds that are meant fro development of the country and the welfare of the people.
There is a need for every Nigeria to now where the problem of this country actually lies and the fight against this junks must be collectively done.

The greediness, desirous, cupidity and selfishness of the NASS is affecting and causing setback to the country... We must make it a point of duty to questioning these legislators for their evil acts... These NASS are not more than us, we elected them and we must be able to question their authority because they are supposed to be representing our interest.

It's visible to the blind and audible to the deaf that those we parade as our representatives and legislators are bunch of wicked souls who don't have any good agenda to better the lives of Nigerians. Now we know that buhari is not the major problem facing this country. Very insensitive set of people.

National Assembly and corruption syndrome are interwoven......It is clear their mission is to truncate and cut short the fulfillment of PMB manifesto as promise during the last election. Their thought is evil and unrighteous which should not be given any attention by Nigerians. We should not wait until corruption is turn to an household name in Nigeria. PMB agenda for mind renewal, image rebirth and total re-awakening should be given massive support.

These people in NASS are not representing the interest of common man but they are representing their own pocket, personal benefits and selfish gains... I cannot concur by this evil acts. Their rapacious, wickedness, greediness and evil acts is really affecting this country.
The President is working tremendously to restore hope back in the country with projects that will make serious impact in the development and progress. And instead of them to support these acts by the president, reverse is their cases.

The NASS have proved with this malicious acts that they are not even worthy to be in such dignified position. How can some set of people just decide to suffer the masses with no reason? It is clearly evident that these actions are deliberate and should be treated as a matter of urgency. The buhari's administration is working tirelessly to make life easy for us, now we can see it that the legislators have conspired to make the effort become futile.

Members of the NASS should be made to account for the previous constituencies projects. Offending members should be jailed according to the law.I can't understand, which law or constitution empowered the National Assembly to appropriate funds to themselves. Budgetary preparation is the preserve of the executive. While review, approval and oversight function remain the function of the legislators.
It can not be right for members of the National Assembly to continue to allocate budgets, allowances and constituencies budgets to themselves and approve them for themselves.
We need constitutional interpretation on this, while the EFCC, should hold them accountable, for previous bogus allowances and budget appropriations to themselves.....

The combination of hardened criminals from all geo-political zones across the country that assembled together in Abuja claiming to be our lawmakers are the unrepentant enemies of Nigeria Democracy and her citizens which has been causing great havoc for the development of our nation and keeping enriching themselves illegally by our hard earned funds. It has gotten to the highest stage that we masses irrespective of tribe and religion suppose to unite together and revolt against these common criminals from each of our constituencies and put end to their crime against our dear nation Nigeria

God bless the author of this article, the NASS led by senator Bukola saraki and hon Yakubu Dogara has shown where they belong to from the beginning of this regime, they are the main enemy of this nation. The fight against corruption could have been an easy one for mr president but with this set of corrupt people surrounding him makes the fight somehow hard for him.I just thank God, Nigerians are beginning to know their real enemy...imagine all the lawmakers from the southeast region sabotaging the effort of the fed govt to make their region a better one because of their greediness and selfishness interest, infact the southeast region people suppose to hold their leaders responsible for the backwardness of their region, and if possible they should all be flogged and the same thing applicable to all the lawmakers across the nation.

The National Assembly have clearly shown that they lack empathy, they are now at war with Nigerians. It is so sad that people whom we have elected in office to become the voice of people have failed to deliver in that capacity. They should be made to face the law for this inhumane act, so it will serve as lesson to others...This is totally unacceptable.

Although the Executive does not have the final say on appropriation of funds for projects but NASS can not on their insert new projects into the budget.
NASS role under section 59 of the constitution is not rubber stamp.Synergy is the solution
A taboo to our National Unity and democracy.

1,They are fending only for their pocket
2,The lives and betterment of Nigerians is nothing to them
3,National assembly led by Saraki and Dogara are just there to fustrate the development of the nation.

it high time we Nigerians rally our support for president Muhamadu Buhari to have a succesful tenure because its now clear that president Buhari meant well for his people.

The op only mentioned the projects in the East without mentioning other geopolitical zones to evoke ethnic sentiment.
The National Assembly have the constitutional right to effect changes in our budget in as much as it is done in good faith, the executive should stop using every opportunity to discredit our honourable members and portray them as enemies of the people, we have good people in the house that are concerned about the well-being of the masses than the presidency and the Ministers combined. they introduced other projects that will equally affect the lives of Nigerians and not Brazilians. How sure are we that the Executive will deliver 50% of the projects that were not altered . There should be synergy among the arms of govt. not blame game.

The system of Government will pratiise in this country is seriously setting us back as a Nation. Its disheartening, sad, painful the way the so call legislative arms we used our hand to vote for expecting positive impart from them, are only there to enrich their pocket.
I think the only things that remain for us now is to be causing them, enemy of Nigeria, enemy of progress.

Looking at the listed infrastructure development that the budget is made to implement, major concern for me in the health sector such as the upgrade of some tertiary health institutions, transport and storage of vaccines through the cold chain supply system, provision of anti-retroviral drugs for persons on treatment, establishment of chemotherapy centres and procurement of dialysis consumables were cut by an aggregate amount of 7.45 billion naira.
The provision for security infrastructure in the 104 Unity Schools across the country were cut by 3 billion Naira at a time when securing our students against acts of terrorism ought to be a major concern of government.

I'm calling on Nigerian, we needs to change our mindset on focusing our attention on the President election alone. We should be careful on who we choose to Rep us, no matter how good or bad any President may be if the Legislative are thiefs, He government will be frustrated by this gold-digger Senators and Reps.

These people calling themselves law-makers are enemy of progress and agent of destruction... They are only there to enrich their pockets and bother not about the welfare of the masses, development of the country and progress of the people. The President who is working to ensure betterment and great development in the country is the one people are blaming for the challenges these NASS are majorly causing. This budget supposed to have been signed since but their greediness, parochialism and selfishness did not allow them.

The padding of the budget is misdemeanor. All Nigerians should rise and support President Muhammadu Buhari and say no to the national assembly.
