There is nothing wrong in asking such questions as it's good for transparency and accountability after all we all pay tax.

But my own be say that Lagos shouldn't be part of Nigeria, it should be an independent nation like Hong Kong; Nigeria is dragging the state back.

@OP, good topic. To you sir, a court has ruled that Lagos State is bound by the FOI Act.

So please write to them and request the information.

The roads and bridges construction contracts ought to have been awarded to Julius Berger not tinubu's hi-tech.The walkways recently constructed at agege motor road,oshodi, are sinking at the edges due to substandard works carried out there.The construction works are done by quack engineers.

Lagos is more than any state in Nigeria,so their achievements can't be used as a standard for any other state...this doesn't mean though that most of our politicians are thieves.

Your raising this question shows that you are indeed a critical thinker.

The secrecy surrounding projects in Lagos is really of grave concern and may further lend credence to those who believe that the state govt's decision not to localise the FoI is to forestall instances of accountability.

It is painful and quite insulting for govt to embark on projects for us using our money and can't render accounts to us.

I won't also be in doubts if this is how Tinubu and his minions fund their war chests with which they prosecute elections.

Hopefully Nigerians will start 'wising' up and asking relevant questions and not if someone will go to USA or not.
