Nigeria captain Kanu has warned Argentina not to write them off ahead of their opening World Cup match in Johannesburg.

Pompey’s striker, whose side are in Group B alongside the South Americans, Greece and South Korea, play their opening match against Diego ­Maradona’s side on June 12, but have one final warm-up game before then – against North Korea tomorrow.

Kanu said: “The question is not how will we survive Argentina, but how will Argentina survive us?
