State Security Services (SSS) has arrested Senator, Enyinnaya Abaribe, representing Abia state on Friday afternoon. His colleague, Dino Melaye, and his party, PDP, confirmed the arrest in separate interviews. Mr. Melaye said he received information that Senator Abaribe was picked at from the Transcorp Hilton Hotel in Abuja where he reportedly went to attend a function. The SSS has no spokesperson to speak on the arrest.It remains unclear why the lawmaker was arrested.
