The Super Eagles of Nigeria arrived St Petersburg ahead of Tuesday’s crucial clash against South American giants, Argentina on Sunday.

The West African team touched down at the Pulkovo International Airport in the cool of the evening and will be hoping to cement a place in the Knockout phase if they defeat Argentina in their final Group D game of the FIFA 2018 World Cup.

In a group forecasted by football pundits to be the deadliest before the Mundial, the Super Eagles are currently second after securing a Musa-engineered victory against Iceland in their last game.

Gernot Rohr will equally hope to break the jinx against the Albiceleste who have had the upper hand in the last four competitive encounter between both teams.
