Kano State is a state located in Northern part of Nigeria. The capital is Kano. Created on May 27, 1967 from part of the Northern Region, Kano state borders Katsina State to the north-west, Jigawa State to the north-east, Bauchi State to the south-east and Kano State to the south-west.
Eligibility and Requirements.

To qualify for the 2018 Kano State government Scholarship Award Scheme, applicants must;

Be Kano State indigene
Have Five (5) credit grades in WASC/GCE/SSCE including Maths, English and 3 other relevant subjects obtained in one sitting.
For undergraduate students, applicant must be a full-time (100 LEVEL) degree students of the under-listed courses in Kano State (Federal University Dutse, Kano State College of Education, Kano State Polytechnic, National Open University Of Nigeria).
