Pls guys how to I extend my stay at Canada after d end of d seminar...bcoz I won't like running around for renewal after three month and hence someone told me even if u are given a week visa to Canada, it is more or less like residence visa

you can't extend your stay in canada with a visit visa. Do your conference and come back. There are proper legal ways to get permanent residence; visit visa is not one.
