Cheapest Tuition Countries In The EU For International Students by ujonah12: 12:13pm On Jun 28, 2018
Generally, tuition fees in Europe are affordable and cheap when compared with tuition fees of other continents. On top of that  many European universities are actually world class. So if you are desiring a top university education that is low tuition, why not consider studying in Europe? Studying abroad in Europe is trending, statistics show how top international students are competing for places in Europe’s finest Universities.

Of course this varies per country though, and also depends to a great extent if you are from European Economic Area or not. The average tuition fee for an international Master’s student in Europe is put at  € 5.100 for applicants from the EEA, and € 10.170 for applicants from outside Europe. For international Undergraduate programs it is € 4.500 for European students and € 8.600 for non-European students. We will take you through some of these countries:

France

France is increasingly becoming a popular studyabroad destination for international students.  The tuition fees are very affordable; note that  public universities charge both EU and non EU students, usually between  200 EUR and 650 EUR/year depending on the level of study. For instance, average tuition fees for medicine can go upto 452 EUR/year, while engineering students will pay 620 EUR/year. Private universities on the other hand, charge annual tuition fees between 1500-6000 EUR or even higher.

Germany

Germany is another great country with a list of top universities. Most universities are low tuition or don’t charge fees at all.Students will need to pay administrative fees between 100 and 200 EUR/semester, that’ll cover public accomodation ticket and other student services. However, for a non-consecutive” Masters or PhD degree(if your prior studies are not in the same field as the one you apply to in a German university),you’ll be charged a tuition fee that can lead up to 10,000 EUR/per semester or even more. Private companies can charge upto 30,000 EUR/year for postgraduate programs.
