In what can only be described as a black Thursday, many persons have reportedly lost their lives and several vehicles burnt after a petrol tanker had an accident, going up in flames in the process.

The details of the incident are not very clear yet but many lives are reported to have been lost and many cars burnt.

According to the Lagos State Traffic Management Agency (LASTMA), the tanker had a break failure and was loaded with PMS (popularly called petrol) when itcaught fire on the Otedola Bridge (inward Berger).

According to Lastma, the number of vehicles affected are over 20 and there is a stand still on the express as vehicles are advised to use all alternative routes .
