Pretty sad how Yoruba religion is practiced more fervently in Brazil than in Yorubaland. Here, peole are even ashamed to be associated with it. Most consider it 'heathen'. The tragic effects of colonial rule.

It started before colonial rule. And Yorubas weren't the only ones to be colonized, the muslims didnt give up islam. There is a deeper problem than colonial rule
