I have laughed off some posts indicating Nigerians can work abroad. Well, I don't know but I must say that I don't think many countries outside Africa can recognise the so called "Nigerian Degree", let's forget about your TOEFL or IELTS ... the degree matters.

People or let me say graduates that I heard are gone abroad are just going there to do casual works or manual labours ....
- washing toilets for the whites
- Mortuary assistants
- House helps e.t.c


I need to know whether truly a person can do a professional or semiprofessional work abroad or the person needs to do post graduates and Masters degree in an internationally recognised university outside there first.

if I should have
a Nigerian degree
a postgraduate degree from the UK
Masters degree from Norway
and probably Ph.D from Scotland

nigerians in canada are working with nigeria degrees working as accountants, teachers, admin officer, sales persons, bankers cos they have legal stay. and their bc has been evaluated by WES or IQAS. those who do menial jobs are those who went abroad with visit visa and have no papers. my friend is in qatar, used his nysc experience from skye bank to get job there as a business banker.
