Brazil‘s goalkeeper, Alisson Becker, is trending online after Brazil won against Mexico on Monday during the 2018 FIFA World Cup.

Fans and Twitter users are so gushing and drooling over Alisson Becker’s rugged good looks that some are saying he looks like the ‘lost Hemsworth brother’ to Chris, Liam and Luke.




The goalkeeper sparked interest among fans on Twitter during the intense World Cup game against Mexico where Alisson showed off his goalkeeping skills by preventing the opposing team from scoring throughout the game.

While some people said he looked like the ‘lost brother’ to the three actors, another Twitter user specifically said Alisson resembled Chris Hemsworth during the movie Thor.



‘No wonder #Mexico couldn’t score, #Brazil played with #Thor as their goalkeeper,’ one person posted, while another chimed in: ‘Wait, is Thor playing goalkeeper for Brazil? Is that legal?’


Alisson’s appearance on the field even swayed some Mexico fans to start rooting for Brazil instead.

‘Planned on rooting for Mexico but holy smokes have you seen the Brazilian goalkeeper,’ one person wrote, before adding: ‘Hot damn.’

Brazil’s phenomenal performance on the football field – resulted in the South American team winning in a stunning 2-0 defeat over Mexico.

Brazil will move onto the next round leaving many Mexico fans in tears as their team was eliminated from the cup.


Unfortunately for many new Brazil fans around the world, Alisson is a married man and has been married for the past three years.
