he Federal Government says it will create production facilities for Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) across the country.
The Vice-President, Prof. Yemi Osinbajo, who made the disclosure through his Special Assistant on MSMEs, Tola Adekunle-Johnson, said the plan was in line with efforts to work with state governments facing finance challenges.
The vice president said that once the production facilities were in place, small business owners who were faced with financial hurdles would be able to rent the production facilities for their business activities.
He however said that they would be required to pay a token to rent the facilities for the creation of their products as obtainable in some developed countries.
Osinbajo said that the federal government had decided to initiate a rewarding system to reward 12 most outstanding small business owners.
“The Presidency has graciously approved the establishment of shared facilities for MSMEs because as the clinics have gone we have seen that there are some MSMEs, though smart but do not even have financial capabilities to run their businesses.
