Macron Ends Visit To Nigeria Today, Says Real Africa Far From Prejudice Of Miser by yeankhar49: 1:17pm On Jul 05, 2018
The French President, Emmanuel Macron, has enjoyed every moment of his visit to Nigeria and it shows. Not only has he verbalised his fulfillment, his body language throughout the visit and the series of tweets he posted buttressed his feeling of true comradeship for Africa, Nigeria and Lagos.
In the last 24 hours, Macron who ran a tight scheduled during the state visit which ends today, has tweeted about the African energy, hoping that his Europeans would also discover what he found out 23 years ago, adding that real Africa “is far from the African prejudice of misery.”
He has also inspired young Nigerians to rise above their challenges, reminding them that if Steve Jobs, a son of a Syrian refugee, could climb to the top of global corporate ladder, they could also make it. He assured them that nationality has nothing to do with the ability to succeed.
Tapping into the biggest passion of Nigerians, football, Macros said, while addressing a group of young sportsmen that, “As the Super Eagles are no longer in the competition, please support the French Team in the Football World Cup!”
