Job Role: Business General manager Report to MD/CEO

Location: Ado Road, Ajah Lagos

Manage business in accordance with Company Policies and Procedure
Assume primary responsibility for the achievement o profit, sales and employee,
P&L targets.Scope and Magnitude.
Find new ways to promote the business through networking.
Monitor suppliers to ensure that they efficiently and effectively provide needed
goods or services within budgetary limits.
Prepare staff work schedules and assign specific duties.
Review financial statements, sales or activity reports, or other performance data
to measure productivity or goal achievement or to identify areas needing cost
reduction or program improvement.
Analyze data to inform operational decisions or activities.
Monitor performance of organizational members or partners.
Workforce planning, Manage, evaluate and improving labor results.
Determine workforce, hire and attracts talent employees, keeping them in their
positions and ensuring that they perform to expectation.
Conduct effective and extensive training for staff.
Coordinate the effective recruitment and selection of staffs using company
systems.
Monitor productivity through the mean of organizational audit with leadership
process for excellent feedback.
Future Planning ventures and objectives involve people in the Company.
Managing semi-variable costs for optimum profit. Facilities and equipments
management.
Ambassador on strategy for advertisement and promo.
Recognize and reward excellent service.
Ensure regulatory rules are adhere to, regular update on all local business
licenses.
Insurance records and all other pertinent business information should also be
on files
Inventory statistics management' adequate supply of all required materials.
Forecasting and managing paper cost through proper inventory management.
Maintain the business development database and checklist.
Manage selection, appraisal and development of staff.
Employee relations mediator.
Monitor performance improvement plans (PIPs) of employee.

Requirements:

Proven track record of taking ownership and driving results
Past senior managerial experience preferred
Strong project management skills with ability to get things done
Highly social and ability to network
Process-oriented with strong analytical and communication skills
Ability to think strategically and tactically within a dynamic, fast-paced
environment
Extremely collaborative and effective in a cross-functional environment
Operational or hospitality leadership responsibility preferred.
Evidence of “scrappy startup execution” and how to ‘get it done’ attitude no
matter what when time is tight and stakes are high.
Ability to manage through ambiguity, stress, adversity and conflict to establish
focus and deliver against business goals

Qualification:

HND/BSC in any related Field
MBA will an added advantage
8years experience with at least 5years in similar role Should not be less than 35years
Should resident around Ajah Lagos.
