Founder of Tony Elumelu Foundation (TEF) and chairman of United Bank for Africa (UBA) Tony Elumelu, has committed N500 million to create an entrepreneurship programme, exclusive to indigenes of his native Delta State.
Elumelu, during a courtesy visit to Ifeanyi Okowa, Delta State governor, made the commitment after presenting 50 beneficiaries of the TEF entrepreneurship programme.
On behalf of the Heirs Holdings Group, Elumelu pledged to work with the state governor’s office to put in place, a new programme to support Delta State youths. According to his post on his twitter handle ,"I am taking entrepreneurship home! What a way to end the weekend"!

Just imagine we have somebody like Tony in all the 36 states with FCT inclusive! This country would have been a better place for us God bless Tony Elumelu, amen

Tony has done his part and God will continue to bless him for that, our leaders over there'll then share 400 million amongst themselves and put the remaining into use.

This is why even in the year 2040 Nigeria will still remain where it is, we are only going in circles. The leaders are only ready to solve their problems and not the country problem.
