Saturday 7th of July 2018 will always be a day to remember for over 200 women who walked around Lagos metropolis raising and creating awareness about the merit of protecting the girl child right and women's health. @TosteMedia captured moments from the 2 hours long enduring walk. While speaking with the media, the good women ambassador convener, Mrs Adegbite noted that the walk was long overdue because it was necessary to raise awareness about the menace in the society which involved girl child molestation and incapacity of women to adequately look after their own health because they are saddled with the responsibilities of the home. She further noted that women are the pillars of the country and now is the right time to take the bull by the horn in a bid to start to create needed awareness about what is right.

The long walk is part of a 3-day women conference tagged "REFRESHED and RENEW" with the thanksgiving and grand finale set to come up at The Shepherd's flock international church, Ikeja GRA tomorrow which will feature health talks, drama and entertainment.
