The general assumption is that when a criminal or a delinquent is sent to the prison, it's for the purpose of reformation.

But I want to get people's opinions on whether that is always the end result.

Do people really get reformed in the prison?

Please intelligent contributions are needed.

A prison is a place I will never wish anyone to go especially naija prisons.

There's nothing like reform.

A prison is a system set to make weak men get tough and wild..

So many bad things are practice in prison..

A person gets more corrupt being in prison..

If I tell you what my eyes saw in prison you will cry.

Prison is another world.

Prisons make a soft tender heart becomes harden

@ milemimi thanks for your thoughts.

One would wonder what triggered my question.

It happened that I was watching the Bonnie and Clyde movie again, and got to the point where Clyde made it clear he was delving deeper into crimes just to get back at the system.

Has the justice system made much needed changes since that time and what are the results of being incarcerated in the Nigerian prisons ?

It's a very long story man..

So many bad things happen there.

If u were a pick pocket and u are sent to prison, by the time u are out u will turned to a high way robber.

People make a lot of conections in prison.

Being in prison I had d opportunity to get in conetion wit top men of this country..

While in prison u will get to meet people that know people that know people that matters in this country.

So many bad things and bad people.

Some of the things that are contrabands are been used in prisons..

Are we then to believe that the prison does more harm than good?
