Nigerians have been warned of the uncertainties of illegal migration to Europe through land boarders as it has been a journey of tears, pain and even death for many.

A young man simply identified as Abraham has narrated his horrific experience after recently returning from Libya.

He left Nigeria for Libya walking on his 2 legs. Now he can only walk with the help of crutches.

He was assisted to return home last Thursday via an International Organization for Migration IOM organised charter flight from Libya.

He narrated how a car smashed his leg in the North African country before speeding away. He was rushed to the hospital where he was treated. He now walks with the aid crutches.
