The reason is simple. It is because EPL is being over hyped by English media. And that of Brazil is due to apparent domination of the South American in worldcup appearances and wining of the trophy. The same way many fans will not like Real Madrid to win UCL in the next season.

They need to get past Croatia first, then we can begin to talk about wining it.

It is rare to see any team lose a match and win the tournament. Most teams go unbeaten. So England is an outsider.
