Those days when one bag of cement was used to lay two blocks....

grin unbreakable

Besides, can't this building be restored and given a face-lift? Anyways na Nigeria, zero maintenance culture. The building looks horrible

They're buildings that were built in the early 18th century
in France, Italy, US etc and are in pristine condition as type this.

How are tourists always able to enjoy destinations better than locals? I swear to God I live in Port Harcourt and have no idea where this is. It was the same when I lived in ABJ, I visited places people who stayed there for 12 and more years did not know.

Its simple.., what you see everyday becomes commonplace! That's why you will see people venturing into the woods, caves and even mars and moon. Many Nigerians are too business and money focus. There are so many beautiful places right here in Nigeria to savour if only we can create the time for it....And the good thing is many of them cost little or nothing!

Check out these amazing photos of the former administrative seat of government during the colonial time. The pictures were taken by the popular Photo Journalist, Enefa.

According to rumour, it is the first building built in the now State Secretariat complex of Rivers state, the structure is still standing strong and is in use till today.

Some parts of the building has offices that are still in Use but the structure is slowly crumbling.

Do what's right. I bet you won't find it funny if your blog had an exclusive report that's copied without it being properly referenced back to you.
