Former Governor of Kaduna State Balarabe Musa has said the alliance between the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and other political parties cannot defeat the All Progressives Congress (APC).

The former governor told NAN that the signing of the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) by the parties is an act of “opportunism.”

Balarabe Musa, who is the National Chairman, Peoples Redemption Party (PRP), also dismissed reports that his party was part of the coalition.

He said: “Remember, the reason for coming together is simply because they have lost the opportunities for sharing power.

“It is not because of anything which they can do which APC didn’t do. No, it is not because they have a different ideological position.

“There is no fundamental difference between them and the APC; they are just an electoral gang to defeat the APC. I don’t think the coalition is enough.”

Musa argued that what is needed is an alliance which is ideologically more focused than the APC and not just an aberration of what APC stands for.

Alliance formed just to defeat PMB without a plan on how to make the country better than it currently is, is an alliance headed for failure. Everyday, APC keep devising ways/policies on how to make the country better; fighting corruption, raising infrastructure and fighting insecurity

You can see that all our leaders are confused. They lack political ideology. They have been holding power since independent, but today nothing to show for it. No ministry is working, no Agency is functioning. Confusion everywhere, and Story every year. They have started their permutation again. Hmmm! 37 political parties coming together to share and loot the remain resources in 2019. What a shame, coalition upon coalition. All to their own pockets. Old men and women recycling themselves to come and deceive us again...Enough is enough! I encourage every youth of Nigeria to register with his/her voter's card, stand and support the real change that is being led by Omoyele Sowere as our first Youthful president. Let Take Nigeria Back" from all these corrupt, senseless, foculess, vision less, reckless and wicked leaders that have been looting, stealing our common wealth, and killing our people. all these factions formed or coalition whatever will fail.... They are just a wasting their time...they are still confused members who are just hungry for power.... well whatever they do or try; they are not match for APC.

The fact is that the peoples democratic party alliance with other parties can't defeat APC because, their reason is not genuine enough. it is glaring that they are not coming together in the interest of the people, instead they are coming together to establish their selfish interest. It is like this old man has lost touch with realities. APC defeated PDP because of alliance with other parties, so now, what will make it not to be possible when PDP too join forces with other parties, nothing...Victory is surely guaranteed.
