Luzhniki Stadium came alive for the finals of the Russia 2018 World Cup finals between France and Croatia. At the end of 90+5mins, it was France that ended up winning their 2nd World Cup title , having also won the competition in 1998.

A total of 6 goals was scored during the game, with France scoring at 18, 38, 59 and 65th minute. The goals for Croatia came at the 28th and 69th minute by Ivan Perisic and Mario Mandzukic.

The French scored first, or rather Croatia did - with striker Mario Mandzukic heading a free kick over his goalkeeper in the 18th minute. Stunned, Croatia tied the match 10 minutes later through Perisic, but soon was behind again in a moment both historic and controversial....
