You would not want to look back at your youth and discover that there are bits you regret. This is why it is most important that you do your best to get it right now that you are young and your wits are still about you. A step towards doing that is reading this article and internalizing the following:
1. Marrying the wrong person
Marriage is a lifetime deal so it would not make sense to slug it out with the wrong person. The wrong person here means someone who does not respect you, support your dreams, who abuses you emotionally and physically or who does not help you grow spiritually.

2. Not taking care of your body
All the messed up things like alcohol and drugs that you take while you are young will catch up with you. Also, the exercise you procrastinate over is sure to rear its head later in life.

3. Not making financial investments
It is good to give your best to where you work but don’t waste your best years there. If at all you must work for someone, be on the lookout for what you can invest in. In the long run, it will all come in handy.

4. Not pursuing your dreams to full capacity
It is good to have aspirations but it will all be useless if you don’t venture out of your comfort zone to ensure they come to life. What is even worse is a half-hearted effort. Go all the way now and try every possibility so that you don’t torment yourself later on, wondering what you could have achieved.

5. Burning bridges
The right relationships can get you anywhere in the world so don’t be too quick to dump people. Be mindful of how you treat them too.
Whatever you do, make the most of today and learn all you can to develop yourself!

And what happens if you have made these mistakes already?

If life offers you a lemon, then turn it into lemonade. It is your attitude that matters.

The same rain that produces sweetness in sugarcane produces bitterness in bitter leaf plant.

These are very costly but avoidable mistakes. And if peradventure you have made them, you can still lead a meaningful life void of REGRETS. There is no key to happiness because the door is always open.

Joy is a free gift you can get yourself. You need it to turn your lemon into lemonade.

No matter how terrible your mistake, you can still shape your life back to normal. It is all about a fighting spirit. Humans may fall but the tragedy is remaining fallen and getting trampled on.

When you fall, pick something up as you rise again. May God give you the grace to rise again.
