naptu2: BurkaHow can a woman be locked up inside a piece of cloth like this? I have never seen a woman in burqa get to top positions in society. I feel sorry for them, especially the ones in Nigeria. Imagine wearing this in a 38 degrees weather. Na heat rash and eczema get you. This is oppression. 4 Likes |

if only people didn't kill in the name of islam. Weda u wear masqurade cloth or babalawo, that's your life. It's not about just wearing hijab but the religion should also give women freedom to make their choices. Cos to me that's religious slavery. And please stop siding with terrorists and learn to tolerate other religion. That's what Allah wants from you muslims. |

Ishilove: and u are sure because? can you prove that they were forced to wear it. only then can this be termed oppression. I see them as people with a total control over their sexuality. they decide who see what and their bodies are not for show. |
Re: Hijab In The United States by Ishilove: 6:17pm On Mar 07, 2013 |
deols:No one forced them because they have been conditioned that way. Conditioned to see themselves as sub-human. If God wanted women to be faceless ghosts flitting around, He would have created us with cauls covering our faces. |

You mix things up. Unfortunately many of you here are very ignorant and fail to learn. The government policies and Islamic principles. In many cases, the policies arent Islamic. There is no compulsion in religion says the Quran. any government that infringes on the right to practice your religion is not being Islamic enough. and many of you dont even have proof for all the things you say. You just pass it on from mouth to mouth without veriying.. God dey! |
