I think I have a solution to the reason for the mysterious number 21.
Douglas Adams a well known author wrote a book on 42 being the Answer to the Ultimate Question of Life the Universe and Everything. Now 21 being half of 42 and the rapture being the midpoint of everything, I think everything now fits neatly.
