Before unnecessarily blaming the police for carrying out their sting operation....

The question you people here should be asking is what is a serving corp member deployed to Jos Plateau State doing in Okpo Olamaboro local government area of Kogi State?

Corp member or not thief nah thief and they need to be cut down asap...!!!

Peace...!!!

our police are just unprofessional. There is nothing in the report that say they were first engaged by the "armed robbers" It is the duty of the police to observe the rules of engagement.
They just showed us someone they killed and claimed he is an armed robber...really?
Now the guy is death and those that can corraborate the story have escaped. We are now left wit the police story.
Knowing how extra-juducial and corrupt the NP is. I'm not buying it. I need more proof to be convinced

So far, everything about this story Smells like a concoted recipe from the NP kitchen of damage control

You are unwell
Please seek help
... Please change your mentality. Does being a serving corper exonorate him from robbery? Or that he can't rob because he is a corper?.
Re: Corper Shot Dead By Police In Kogi, Labelled An Armed Robber. Graphic Photo by Born2Breed(f): 8:48am On Jul 26, 2018
Because he is serving Corp member does not exonerate him from robbery.
We should wait for full investigation, his family and friends must speak up to determine the truth.
If this is another extra judicial murder, the killers won't escape justice.

The Nigerian police officers should be termed as the worst on the face of this earth , by their unprofessional conduct and mostly should be publicly executed by all means by the members of the public. If they suspect him to be armed robber, why not arrest him and prosecute him. The slogan that 'Police is your friend' should not be applied to the Nigerian Police officers as they are not mentally stable to police the nation. What we have at the moment are bunch of uncivilized criminals armed by the government as SARS earmarked for murder.

I understand that there is a natural tendency to see Police as the enemy. I get it and perhaps they deserve it.

BUT of the millions of Nigerians today, how come this Corper is the lucky one to get shot by police.

I served in Anambra and always visited my girlfriend in Benue state every fortnight, does that make me a thief?

Oga relax. Did you read the article at all? These bloggers just give sensational headlines and then y'all jump on it and start vexing unnecessarily. You can infer from reading the article that this was a police sting operation and not a random shooting. Except of course, there is no possibility for a Corp member to be a criminal.

Did it occur to you that Police may have labeled him a robber so that they can be free of criticism because dead bodies don't talk.

Why killing an unarmed person without confrontation or gun battle.
Why don't they shoot his leg to demobilise him to clear doubts.

So if he is serving in Plateau he shouldn't travel to any other part of the country for whatever reason apart from. Criminal activities.

Pray you don't fall victim. Of Police brutality and wrongful accusation.

RiP to the dead.

Are you saying He can't go out of Jos because He's serving there? If yes, You need help.

There are some scenarios here:
1. He could be a criminal
2. He could be a criminal and a Corp member
3. He could be a Corp member in the wrong place at the wrong time or probably got involved in a legit deal that went south.

The questions you should be asking yourself are:
1. Using scenario 3 would you wait putting into consideration the brutal nature of the police at times?

2. Can the police not shoot to kill? According to police investigation, the deceased was ALLEGED to be among three armed men who robbed a Highlander Jeep and some money from a man whose identity is still unknown in Otukpo, Benue state.

Buh then again crazy news just dey fly upandan everyday for dis Kwantry.

Only God, the dead guy and the police know the truth now, I hope the truth comes out.

You should actually seek help.

That he's in NYSC means he can never rob ?

So the Police should leave him once he flashes his ID card with his left hand and maybe with a gun in the right ?

Truth is...we don't know if he's guilty or not. We are all speculating.

I pray he's gets justice guilty or innocent.

So the penalty for robbery now is death?? What happened to our Judicial System Bros u no get sense.

A typical scenario of " we go fire you and label you criminal and nothing go happen".

I weep for my country. Cos nothing might actually happen.
