The Gunners signed the 19-year-old from Ligue 2 side Lorient earlier this month, for a fee in the region of £8m.
He was handed a place in the starting line-up for today’s pre-season match and didn’t disappoint.
One particular moment left fans in awe.
The footage shows Guendouzi picking up the ball between his two centre-backs in his own half.
He then looks up and spots the run of Aubameyang, before firing a pin-point 50-yard ball over the top and into the striker’s path.
The Gabon international then turned a defender inside out before shooting straight at the goalkeeper.
Despite Aubameyang failing to convert the golden chance, fans couldn’t help but applaud Guendouzi’s pass.
“This pass was unreal,” one commented.
Another wrote: “Don’t want to get excited here but Guendouzi is better than Pogba.”
A third agreed, adding: “Guendouzi is the player Man United fans think Pogba is.”
And a fourth said: “Guendouzi Euro 2020 win with France, Pogba on the bench watching him.”
The teenager has already impressed during pre-season, with his stunning passing display against Atletico Madrid seeing comparisons with Sergio Busquets.
