Why is buhari afraid of losing in kano? if he is a president of all Nigeria he should be able to win anywhere. Did MKO only win in the south west?

The Presidency just speak as if buhari has the monopoly of winning election in kano state!!

In 2007, Buhari won Kano because Shekarau sitting Governor, in 2011, he won because Kwankwaso and NEF who adopted him as Northern sole candidate supported against Shekarau, in 2015, he won because Kwankwaso supported him and the INEC REC and his family were murdered in his sleep.

But the only time he went heads on against Shekarau and Kwankwaso was during the 2011 Kano gubernatorial election where he fielded Lawan Jafaru as CPC's candidate, Shekarau fielded Salihu Takai and Kwankwanso ran under PDP.

Grandpa was only able to garner pitiable 7.2% for his boy. If he is that strong in Kano without Shekarau or Kwankwaso why didn't he win or at least get up to 25%.
