SportDab.com.ng Mohamed Salah and Sadio Mane were pictured quarreling over who takes a penalty in the 4-1 win over Manchester United on Saturday. Salah had to be dragged away as he argued with Mane over penalty duties in the pre-season match in Michigan. The two Premier League big boys faced off on Saturday evening, though Coach Jose Mourinho had stated it was 'Liverpool's first team versus Manchester United second team.' Liverpool were dominating in the early stages of the match and got the opportunity to take the lead from the spot when Demetri Mitchell fouled Mohamed Salah in the box. Salah looked set to take the penalty he had won and requested for the ball. But Mane instead decided to take the penalty having scored from the spot in a match against Manchester City earlier. Salah was unhappy with the decision and argued with Mane over who should take the penalty. The Egyptian was eventually dragged away by Midfielder James Milner. He still looked annoyed, bemused that he wasn't allowed to take the penalty and said something to Mane as he walked back to the edge of the box. Mane duly scored the penalty, placing the ball in the bottom corner despite United's Lee Grant guessing the right way. And the Senegalese was keen to make amends with his teammates afterwards. Mane jogged over to Salah after celebrating the goal with other teammates and dedicated the strike to him. Liverpool's lead didn't last long as Andreas Pereria equalised with a stunning free-kick, but the Reds ran riot and secured a 4-1 victory.
