A 13-year-old girl was raped and impregnated by her father in Nasarawa state and when her mother found out, she poisoned her to cover up the shame.

The girl almost died after she was poisoned by her mother but she was rushed to the hospital where she was saved. She lost the pregnancy however.

She is currently in a General hospital in Nasarawa state and her parents have both been arrested.



The sad story was posted on social media by a lady identified as Raheema (pictured above), who claimed that the victim was admitted at the medical center where she worked.

Please someone should refer me to a humanitarian (legal) personnel willing to take up a case of a young girl, age 13 raped and impregnated by her father and poisoned to die by her mother to cover up for the shame in Nasarawa local government area of Nasarawa State.

Alhamdulillah the girl survived but lost the baby. She is currently in our General hospital here and both parent of hers have been arrested. My fear is that this girl will not get justice as it will be looked at as family issue which is why I am reaching out. Evil is human
