The management of Kogi State University (KSU), Anyigba has requested for military patrol teams to help implement the 'No School Fees, No Examination' policy of the institution.

In a letter signed by the chief security coordinator of the institution, Major Adama (rtd), the Army patrol teams will "jointly operate with other security staff to provide conducive environment for the examination inform of show of force and intermittent campus patrols".

This, according to Adama, is due to the fact that the management has directed that only students that paid their school fees and other outstanding fees will be allowed to write the semester examinations.

He noted that the policy is already "causing some tension on the campus"

Aggrieved students staged a peaceful protest against the institution’s directive on Monday morning to the school senate building, there were addressed by the school registar who told them to defill the whole semester due to their inability to pay their fee. The students pleaded with several reason but to no avail

The students later left the senate building angrily and procced to Idachaba Lecture theater, disrupted those writing Exam before returning to their various faculties of the institution to continue the agitation.

The first semester examinations started today been 30th of July and will end on August 30.

Meanwhile Governor Yaya Bello is owning them several months of salaries! He even sacked some lecturers in that University because they wanted to agitate for their right!! So many of those children have their parents working in that state and still have not been paid for months! This government is demonic!
