That's why I hate the US!
The internet isn't a "national asset", its an international asset. And giving the US president or Homeland Security the power to shut down the internet could terrorists a very easy chance of creating Armaggedon. Imagine if the internet is shut down for an hour.
The whole idea if implemented would only equal one thing. Catastrophy
