Well there are other data companies. It's not just mobile phone companies dt provide data. Most offices use sats. And some pple use speed or ntel or spectranet at home.

I bought an airtel line just last week when I discovered the charges for GLO became almost twice as it used to be. Never in my wildest dreams did I ever think I'd switch to back to airtel again after ditching my then ' celtel' or was it 'zain' line? Call charges then was hell.

I abandoned my Airtel sim for over a year o! Now it's the backbone of my data usage. Calls on Airtel cheap die, at 11kobo per second, it beats other networks hands down.

this explains why artel data connection have been poor in recent weeks.

Airtel has its own issues, but it is better than the other networks.

Glo is the best for me, showing 4G and sometimes LTE on my phone. Glo network is faster than all the broadband networks put together: Smile 4G LTE, Spectranet 4G LTE, Ntel, etc. As to data too, Glo still remains the grand master of data. 9mobile is stingy with data, while MTN is a scammer.

why won't they loose? their data is reducing every day and the money is increasing all time especially MTN if they did not repent they will continue loosing until their company get fold.

Read the article again...it says Airtel gained more subscribers....where did these subscribers come from? From MTN, Glo & 9mobile.
For me, I came from MTN & 9mobile to Airtel. I'm a living example. Good riddance to fluctuating network of MTN & 9mobile.

lol. Personally I ran from Airtel with my heels touching my head and broke the sim. I'll subscribe and will never be able to load the Google homepage then like 3-4days to expiry, my network becomes like 4G. I thought it was just a one off issue but it kept happening and when I called customer care, they said nothing was wrong with my line. Definitely wasn't network. If it was, then reception wouldn't change positivity in the last days.
