#1 Carryout Keyword Research
When planning on running a Google PPC ads, you first want to deal with the keywords you are going to use. Start by putting down the list of keywords relevant to your advert. Start with the general keywords, then begin to narrow them down. Make use of tools like Google keyword planner and SEMRush to further narrow down your list of relevant keywords.

When using the keyword planner or SEMRush, look through the data and see how often people search for the keywords and how many of your competitors are going after them including the bidding range. Look through your keywords again and remove the irrelevant ones, once you are through with your research.

#2 Segment your keywords into campaigns and ad groups
