This is a fake info, let them publish names of the Senators. The Majority Leader of the Senate,Senator Ahmed Lawan has named the APC Senators. ' We do our things with facts' -said Senator Ahmed Lawan while mentioning the names of APC Senators https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hziyBsDOPXE&itct=CBIQpDAYByITCLau8b7g0NwCFYNk4AodzRAKqFIkQVBjIFNlbmF0ZSBDYXVjdXMgbGVhZGVyIEFobWFkIExhd2Fu&client=mv-google&gl=NG&hl=en 1 Like |

Please forget that big mouth useless data analyst guy in Channel TV. The early sunrise daily that i watch everyday stops presenting him on their non-partisan programme the better otherwise people will stop watching the programme. it's obvious their data analyst guy doesn't like Buhari or APC. He is always taking side for PDP on his analysis even when it's a wrong info. WE ALL KNOW WHERE ALL THE SENATORS BELONG. 2 Likes |

it will be wise if Nigerians would vote in a candidate from a political platform not well know as majority of the persons that hv piloted d affairs of this country and has brought it to this pitiful state re either in APC or PDP. if we really want a reform and do away with majority of d present crop of leaders and giving a chance fr the status quo in our political arena to b changed, it's better to elect candidates frm parties aside d pdp or apc . this would go a long way to cut down the influece the present crop of political gladiators re hving in the nigerian polity and give opportunity fr new players. aint we tired of recycling political leaders who wldnt want a change of d status quo because they re beneficiaries? We don't need to go violent for change; we just hv to be wiser |

Its better to wait after the senate recess so we all will know the number of senators therein, Than adhering to this paid PDP false news carriers who tend to deceive unsuspecting Nigerians. |

I watch channels news this morning and I'm inclined to believe their figures more than yours. I'm sorry, I can't trace or believe your data simply because you don't have a source neither are you a mainstream media. Whilst channels TV may be wrong, people are likely to believe their figures more than your, unless a reputable source back up your claims. 1 Like |

TheFreeOne: ....u are the mumu... see below if English no hard u.... My attention has been drawn to a thread in the homepage with the headline "Where Are The Senators?: Channels TV Info-graphic" purportedly detailing the number of Senators the APC and PDP both have. The info there is incorrect, untrue and an attempt to misinform the public. First, in the South South, it shows that APC has five Senators while the PDP has thirteen. That's untrue. APC has two Senators from Rivers, one from Akwa Ibom, one from Cross River, one from Delta and one from Edo State. All together, APC has six Senators in the South South but I can see five on the list. Do you guys need a soothsayer to tell you that the list is flopped? Lest i forget, PDP has twelve. Now, in the Southeast, they claimed APC has two Senators from the zone while PDP has eleven. That's also false. In Ebonyi State, the Senator representing Ebonyi South Senatorial District, Sunday Ogbuoji has defected to the APC from PDP. In Anambra State, APC has Senator Andy Uba. APC also has two Senators from Imo State. They are Ben Uwajumogu and Hope Uzodinma. It's now obvious APC has four Senators in the Southeast as against the two reported by Channels TV. PDP has ten while APGA has one from Anambra State, Senator Victor Umeh representing Anambra Central. In the Southwest, the twelve allocated to APC is right. But the four allocated to PDP is untrue. PDP has two Senators from Ekiti State, the one they have in Ogun, Buruji Kashamu is no longer with them as he has been on suspension. Tejuoso that also claimed to have joined them in Ogun State has since gone back to APC. The two Senators that left APC in Oyo State defected to ADC. They have Senator Adeleke in Osun State. So all together, APC has twelve, PDP has three, ADC has two while one presently has no party. In the Northwest, Mohammed Shittu joined the PDP in Jigawa State, Ibrahim Danbaba joined in Sokoto while Suleiman Hunkuyi joined in Kaduna. Danjumah Laah is Kaduna South is also a PDP Senator. PDP also has Kwankwaso from Kano. All in all, out of the twenty one Senatorial Districts in the zone, PDP has five Senators from, APC has fifteen while there's a vacant seat in Katsina after the death of an APC Senator. A by-election would hold there next week Saturday. As reported by Channels, APC has fourteen while PDP has six. That's also a lie. In the Northeast, Channels TV claimed PDP has seven Senators while APC has nine. That's untrue. Two Senators recently joined the PDP in Bauchi State, the one that left APC in Adamawa, Senator Nyako, joined the ADC not PDP. PDP had one Senator in Gombe before Nafada joined them. So as it stands, they have two in Gombe and two in Taraba. All together, PDP has six Senators in the Northeast, APC has ten, ADC has one while one seat in Bauchi once occupied by an APC Senator is vacant. In the North Central, PDP has all the three Senators from Kogi, all the three from Kwara, two from Nasarawa, two from Plateau and two from Benue and one from Abuja while APC has six from this zone so Channels is right on this. Now, combining all the senators from all the zone, it clearly shows that APC has 53 Senators, PDP has 49 Senators, ADC has three, APGA has one, two vacant seat and one Senator without a party. Breakdown!! Southeast: PDP - 10, APC - 4 and APGA - 1 South South: PDP - 12 and APC - 6 Southwest: PDP - 3, APC - 12, ADC - 2 and one without a party. North Central: PDP - 13 and APC - 6 Northeast: PDP - 6, APC - 10, ADC - 1 and one vacant seat. Northwest: PDP - 5, APC - 15 and one vacant seat. |
