After winning the Republican Party primary for the nomination in May, he recently secured victory after defeating his Democratic opponent with ease.

At his watch party, Jacobs admitted that his decision to seek the position of mayor was initially met with ‘pretty resounding laughter’ from some politicians, though he ultimately got the last laugh after his resounding win.

Who is Glenn Jacobs?

Glenn Jacobs is a professional WWE wrestler known as Kane who was recently elected as Mayor of Know County, Tennessee.

He was born on April 26, 1967 to a United State Air Force family stationed at Torrejón Air Base in Spain.

Jacobs grew up outside of St. Louis, Missouri, excelling in sports like American football and basketball. Upon graduating from Truman State University in Kirksville, Missouri, he started his professional wrestling career on the independent circuit before later joining the WWE, making his debut in February 1995.

Adopting his menacing Kane persona in October 1997, he soon amassed a large following among WWE fans, making him one of the most popular wrestlers alongside The Rock, ‘Stone Cold’ Steve Austin and The Undertaker, billed as his half-brother in the WWE’s storylines.
