I've been having this charging-to-100 issue with the phone for some time now. The charging stops at 96% or 97%. Sometimes when it'plugged in (in a bid to get it to 100%) it would get to 98% but never beyond that. Also, It drains faster than it ought to, too...
What's is the cause? And solution?

Drain your battery to 0 then recharge. If it doesnt solve the problem maybe u may need to change the battery.

Maybe you should reset the phone. Back up important files first

Maybe you should take the phone to Carlcare.

1) does your screen need to be brighter than the sun (for me right now yes lol)
2) wifi when you can as 4G is a killer
3) are you just Nexus happy and using your new toy 3 times more than your old phone (for me right now yes lol)

unscrew the phone

take out the battery clip from the board

press the power button to release static electricity


clip the battery back to the phone
charge up.
this method have been working for quite some time

Take your phone to Carlcare

Go to the nearest Tecno Carlcare in your area

Repair your phone at Tecno Carlcare

Hello, Turn off Battery Saver in Settings app > System > Battery saver. Also run Power Troubleshooter from Control Panel > Troubleshooting > View all. See if it helps you. Hope this helps, Good luck.
