Thats how it is now. no waivers. if there were waivers no one will wanna do it.

Thanks. Please, have people been getting results from WAEC to send to WES? How long does it take?

For Computer Science degree evaluation, can I use ICES or IQAS? Which one is better?

Good afternoon Canadian hopefuls I accidentally deleted my SINP application while completing my invitation to apply profile. I have sent a mail to sinp help restore my application.

Hi,

I can't resist commenting on your post . I do hope you can make the right decision based on what I am writing now. My close relative got ITA and submitted all documents in December 2017.

His appeal letter was ACCEPTED and he was asked to do a new medical. HE RECEIVED PPR TODAY !!!!

i wouldn't know if this experience will trigger a change in CIC view/policy concerning ICAN certificate . Action of one courageous person can change the world. Its not always good to believe anything just because someone said so. If he hasn't written his appeal, he will still be waiting for ATS verification as widely believed and advised by most applicants .

I wish you the best in your application.

Thank you so much for this. This is a classical page 1 content. God bless you for not staying silent.

Ok. thanks

I think WAEC only respond to WES once in 2 weeks i.e they do it in batches. Their system seems organised. Just exercise some patience.

Cheers.

I submitted the request for WAEC result for my wife and sister on the same day - Monday, 10th September 2018. It was processed and dispatched on Thursday 13th September 2018. It was received at WES on Tuesday 18th September 2018 (I sent both in one envelope, saved courier money). WES updated both profiles to 'document received, awaiting verification' on 20th September 2018. My Wife's WAEC result was verified by WES/WAEC and update by WES was on 2nd October 2018. My Sister's WAEC is still being verified, but I expect it to be sorted in the next couple of hours as there is a sign of status change on her WES account.

I hope the timeline helps.

Cheers!

Thanks, which universities need hard copy verification package?

congrats to all that Got PPR, aced ielts, upgraded EORs, ITA choppers and everyone making progress in this race. to all who are still waiting to upgrade their scores, it will surely come to pass. it will end in praise for us all.

Just a reminder for us to continue to believe and not quit on this journey. Trump the US president is currently drafting a new law to forbid kids born in the US to have auto citizenship, as seen in a video recently. if this eventually materialize, then it's safe to say attention would shift to Canada for childbirth. we all need to secure the future. Eyes on the goal...
So no hope in Nigeria Las las.

Hello House,

Aside WES which other evaluation coy is effective?

Secondly I did direct entry into university because I have NCE. Am I to evaluate my NCE too?

Finally, the Date of Birth on my GCE result is not correct. Hope this won't be an issue?

Thank you

Use ICES. They do not need your GCE result.

You only need 3 years for maximum points. So the 3yrs post NYSC is adequate.
Alternatively you can put OND as the year you became qualified to practice and list all, since it seems to be the same company all through.
The alternate job can be put as part time in your personal history. That will cover the extra income.

However, it all hinges on whether you can increase your crs score to around 440 and above. Options include using wife as PA (if younger), getting Masters and learning French.

Thanks. Do i have to present an approval from my main office to participate in my alternative job?

i increased LSWR to 877 and crs changed to 457

All, most claim not receiveing anything. All get it via email too. Most deny getting the email too. Use ICES if you can avoid WES.

Please change that your listening score to 8 and watch your CRS skyrocket to ITA range. That should be your target 8777. Concerning school and work I think there is a way around it but I expect other seniors to torchlight that area for you.

Hello everyone,

Urgent reply please!
I've a cousin that has been living with me for a year now...I've been responsible for his education and welfare...both parents still alive though, but wanted to help him because of his slow education(he is 18)...my major concern now is that,I created my profile a while ago without including him because of POF(which will increase my family size to 4) but now POF won't be a problem...and I really want to help him because after God,I'm his only ticket to education. If I include him now.. although I've not received ITA...I hope it won't lead to a problem for me in my application and also how do I proof he has been living with me?
Thanks alot for you response!

I started this process early last year but scaling ielts and evaluating my medical degree with medical council of Canada took Gods divine intervention and I was only able to dive into the pool late October with CRS of 437. This was after writing ielts four times and all the wahala that came with transcript verification.
Sadly by the time I entered the pool scores started rising and ITA was gradually becoming beyond reach in the same year that scores fell to 413. I continued gathering information here and by Gods grace my wife's sister got PPR early this year and that's how extra 15 points landed me ITA else OYO was already my case. By the time ITA fell on me almost everything to apply was set infact it was payment issues that delayed my application by 5days post ITA and the rest is history.

PS- I only discovered this site after paying a huge sum to an agency in Canada for my application but by the time I was applying I had learnt so much here that I asked them to withdraw my profile and I created a fresh profile as well as submitted my application all by myself thanks to this great house.

Ielts - Oct 2017
ITA- June 25
AOR - June 30
MEP / IP1 - July 14
IP2 - Oct 26
PPR- Oct 29
VO - Ottawa, No travel history.
No ADR, didn't order gcms notes.

Thanks to everyone for all the information I got from this forum.

Congratulations to you and your family
Please I just want to ask for clarification, Was your wife the PA? Because I was told and I have read about it that you cannot claim the 15 point except its the PA siblings/relative but you can claim for your spouses siblings/ relatives

Concerning POF please note that bank statement is not compulsory if you get bank letter in CIC format or if you are using treasury bill and fixed deposit. Just bank Letter in CIC format and maybe payslips is enough. However a simple LOE should suffice

By all means... evaluate your NCE... as it is highly recognized... living testimony here...

But that your GCE age ish will definitely be an issue... I suggest you correct it here before submitting to WES...

Thank you,

I have tried everything possible to correct it. I am tired of it.. the main issue is that the original certificate got burnt and according to the officer-in-charge it compulsory to present the original cert.

Any assistance to achieve this will be highly appreciated.

I have docs. like Date of Birth Certificate, International Passport (the one issued before the exam date), drivers license, national ID etc. as proof of AGE.

Thanks once again!

related to you or your partner by blood, marriage, common-law partnership or adoption

I was the PA and yes I claimed 15 points for spouse sibling who is a PR. Whether its the PA or his or her spouse sibling, you can claim the 15 points so don't let anybody confuse you. The catch is that its for a sibling as in same mother and father and not blood relative like uncle, aunty or cousin.
