*For those receiving text messages from JAMB stating that the course they picked as first choice has not been accredited have nothing to worry*
.
*The department JAMB have Complained so far that have not gain accreditation are BUSINESS ADMINISTRATION AND INDUSTRIAL PRODUCTION ENGINEERING*
.
*Recently Accounting department renewed their accreditation by NUC*
.
*And Nursing Department gained interim Accreditation last year too*
.
*THIS IS THE RESULT OF 2016 ACCREDITATION FOR SOME DEPARTMENTS*

*RESULTS OF THE NOVEMBER 2016 ACCREDITATION OF ACADEMIC PROGRAMMES IN NIGERIAN UNIVERSITIES :AMBROSE ALLI UNIVERSITY, EKPOMA*

*The National Universities Commission (NUC) has released the results of the November 2016 accreditation of academic programmes that took place in the University*. *Following it's statutory mandate to accredit academic programmes in all Nigerians universities and in consonance with the provisions of the current government approved guidelines, the following are result of the exercise as listed and tabled below

*ART*
*1. History and international studies =>full accreditation=>maturity date 2021*
.
*ENVIRONMENTAL SCIENCES*
*1. Architecture =>interim accreditation=>maturity date 2018*
*2. Building=>interim accreditation =>maturity date 2018*
.
*SCIENCES*
*1 Biochemistry=>full accreditation => maturity date 2021*
*2. Botany =>full accreditation =>maturity date 2021*
.
*3. Microbiology =>full accreditation =>maturity date 2021*
.
*SOCIAL SCIENCES*
*1. political science => full accreditation =>maturity date 2021*
.
*Please note the implication of the accreditation status earned by academic programmes of Nigerian universities:*
.
*a) Full accreditation status is valid for a period of five years*
*b) Interim accreditation status is valid for two years after which the programmes will be revisited. Programmes that even interim status after two visits shall revert to DENIED accreditation status*
.
*We congratulates The Department who have just been granted accreditation*
*The Department of History And international studies has just earned full accreditation having earned same in 2009.*
.
*The department of Biochemistry, Botany, Microbiology and political science denied accreditation in 2015 but now have full accreditation*
*The department of Architecture and Building were denied accreditation in 2015 but now have interim accreditation*
*By this feat, all department of our University now enjoy positive accreditation status by The National Universities Commission (NUC)*
.
*Note, to make AAU the number one State University in Nigeria, is a collective responsibility, remember to play your part.*
