This is a sad news coming in from Zamfara. This has been happening in Zamfara and we wonder why NYSC keeps posting kids to unsafe places. Hostel where the girls stay is open to the mami market and unsafe.

As the corpers were sleeping in their hostels after a stressful day, a thief invaded the hostel collecting phones, cash and every available property belonging to Corpers.

Reports reaching us said the thief was seen at about 2am by a young girl who wanted to urinate. He fled after she raise alarm. The girls are having a hard time sleeping and feel very unsafe.
From reports, there has been no presence of the authorities since the panic and they corpers are worried about their safety.

We keep wondering why NYSC refuses to ensure safety of innocent people being posted to Zamfara Camp and other places. Girls are kept in a hall which is open to all and (no privacy) for females. Hall situated very close to the mami market.

We can't keep sweeping this under the carpet. Zamfara camp is unsafe for the safety of Corpers. Such an open hostel should have a 24hr surveillance.
