HND not equivalent to degree –Oronsaye Discuss

It has been said severally that HND holders are meant to fill middle level manpower alone, but no one is satisfied until one reaches the peak of his career or attain the highest position in an organization.

From where our educational system is borrowed from, the two aren't same, but they are on different work cadre as a result of which clashes of interest are not visible.

Since Nigeria has refused to be an industrialized nation such conflict is bound to occur.

But since federal govt has agreed to remove the dichotomy, employer of labour should stop discrimination and allow best candidate to rise to whatever position on merit.

Its always good to make a hay while the sun shine.
PLEASE, does anyone knows any other university in Nigeria other than UNIPORT that has an HND to BSC / BENG / BTECH conversion programmme for the HND holders.
