Whether hes a mole or not,indications have emerged that hes been silently pro apc since ending of 2015.i have stated it here severally that while pdp are struggling to penetrate buhari's strongholds where hes a movement,a religion and a party,apc have carved out bases in the ss/se.in every state in the ss/se,apc have strong chieftains.
Akpabio is number one politician in akwa ibom.he controls akwa ibom.he singlehandedly installed udom and allocated the humongous votes to pdp in 2015.he taught udom politics.he deflated apc votes in oron which is an apc stronghold.the priority now is to divide pdp votes there and with akpabio now in apc,buhari will get 40% of akwa ibom votes.he will get 70% of annang votes,60% of eket votes and 30 % of uyo zone votes.
Udom may or may not be re-elected but thats not the priority of apc.One thing many pdp enthusiasts fail to understand is that rigging mostly takes place during collation not actual voting.the power of the voters stop at the polling units.from there,the votes are taken to the ward and lg collation points where inec and top party chieftains hold sway.this is where apc will outmuscle pdp.even if it comes down to vote buying,akpabio will outmuscle the state pdp.udom will be the only one to challenge him but he will mostly concentrate on his own reelection bid.onofiok luke is too weak to mount any challenge.
In summary,the only way for pdp to defeat buhari is if inec introduce electronic voting or eliminate ward and lg collations and instead transmit results directly to state and national offices
