Now The Epl Transfer Window Is Closed How Did The Top Six Clubs Fare? by StevieWonders06(m): 10:58am On Aug 10, 2018
Now that the Epl transfer window is closed how did the top sixclubs fare? And where are the other teams headed?

It's less than 24hrs for the 2018/19 season  to kick off with Manchester United hosting Leicester City at the theatre of dreams.

This year's summer transfer window was filled with improvements by a lot of teams and also teams who added little or none.

Liverpool FC have really improved after letting Brazilian starlet Phillipe Coutinho leave to Barcelona earlier this year, by bolstering their attack with the signing of Xherdan Shaquiri from Stoke City, their midfield with the energetic Naby Keita from Leipzig and Luis Fabinho from Monaco F.C, and breaking the record fee for goalkeepers by signing Alisson Becker from As Roma for £66.9million(€75million) but the record was usurped by Chelsea' new signing Kepa Arrizabalega who was signed for £75million from Athletic Bilbao and the new Liverpool squad seems not to only be on the trajectory to win but are also title contenders.

Man.City made only two signings in Riyad Mahrez(Leicester City £60m) and Claudia Gomes(PSG free) they should have added at least one midfielder to replace the outgone Yaya Touré, but the still showed their class, last weekend when they romped to a 2-0 victory against Chelsea F.C courtesy of goals from double-centurion Kün Aguero.

Arsenal have really stepped on the throttle after Wenger's departure by hiring the services of Spanish coach Unai Emery who guided Sevilla to three consecutive Europa league triumphs in three years before going on to replicate his successes at PSG, ever since his appointment he has tried to fix the defensive issues Arsenal suffered last season by signing five players already, a keeper, a full back, a centre back, and two young midfielders. He will also look to correct the gunners away record which was bad last season, though he had a good preseason with the gunners the fans will want more from him when they host title-holders Manchester City in a super-sunday clash at the Emirates.

Chelsea are quite at loss after the closure of the window after losing Thibaut Courtois to Real Madrid and was forced to pay in excess to secure the signing 23-year old Kepa from Athletic Bilbao to fill the vacuum left by Courtois, despite hiring a new coach in Maurizio Sarri this summer they haven't been impressive throughout the preseason but the fans will have some hope due to strong showings by new signing Jorginho, and Real Madrid's Mate Kovacic who joined on a season long loan because of inadequate playtime, the fans will be praying not to lose Hazard or Kante, if the rumours of Modriç's departure are true, Madrid might come knocking, but the question is will Sarrivtakebhis new side to new heights and help turn Morata' s misses to goals?

Manchester United kicked off the transfer window by signing Diego Dalot from FC Porto and Fred form Shakhter Donetsk but they slowed down and didn't bring anyone else in despite rumours that Tottenham's Alderweireld was on his way to Old Trafford, and late pushes for Diego Godin, Harry Maguire and Boateng all fell through, though they have experienced full backs in Valencia and Ashley Young they still need younger legs in those positions , and a striker who could play as back up to Lukaku, since Zlatan Ibrahimovic left in January. Is this going to be a second trophy less season for Mourinho? Fans will hope that the new signings can bring some force to help the team move forward this new season and bridge the big gap from last season .

The only club from the top six that didn't let any player in or out during the window...Tottenham FC,they will soon move in to their new home but look to be following the gunners trail when they changed grounds, Arsenal sold top players after moving from Highbury, is Tottenham headed that way? Maybe they will say they did well last season without signing any player except Davinson Sanchez, but the last season ended trophy less for them, and they seem to be on the decline, but will Poch tweak his team's "modus operandi" to match other teams?

Bournemouth, Burnley, Leicester, Newcastle, Southampton, Watford, West ham, Huddersfield, Brighton, Crystal Palace, Fulham, Wolverhampton, Cardiff City  will all be out to finish better than last season and prevent relegation.

The newly promoted teams, Fulham, Wolverhampton, Cardiff City have all done good business in the just concluded transfer window, are we set to see normal football or some "Leicesteristic" surprise this season? Fasten your seat belts because this season is about to get started! wink

Mounrinho is the problem, his style of play is what we as fans need to get away from...
That boring style of play will continue again this season. Is well..
Just to let every man u fans know that, we can't be beta than last season. It's apparent. Even when he signed Sef, na rubbish..
