Following the successful resolution of the dispute over ownership of Etche Road Field Aba, where the proposed Enyimba Shopping Mall is located, Governor Okezie Ikpeazu has directed that the developers, Checkbest International Limited, recommence construction work immediately.

The Government wishes to express appreciation to the parties for submitting to peaceful and amicable settlement and call on the developer to ensure that the ultra-modern mall is realized within the time agreed with the Public Private Partnership and Investment Office of the Government.

Abia State Government has issued a certificate of occupancy to the St Joseph Parish of the Catholic Church, Market road Aba, and assigned a new property to Our Lady of Lourdes Parish, Etche Road by East Aba, for the development of a new school.
