This scripture further confirms that every believer has the measure of faith and you have to be bold about it. You have that measure of faith so don’t let anything tell you that you don’t have it. You must know what to do to and with that measure. Jesus, describing this basic measure of faith, said, “If you have faith as a grain of mustard seed, you can say to this mountain, be thou removed and be thou cast into this sea and it should obey you.” This scripture is referring to that same measure.

You do not need a giant faith in something unreliable but you need a tiny faith in something reliable. You must understand this because we are dealing with the true God of heaven and earth. What you need to start with is a mustard seed size of faith.

Everybody understands that the most potent forces in the world usually come in small packages. The atomic bomb is not as big as people think it is; it is 3 meters in length and 0.7 meter in diameter. Even so, faith is a greater force for good while the atomic bomb was for destruction; and the basic measure of faith for every believer is as tiny as the mustard seed in size. The important thing is not its size but its potency. If you will say to your mountain “Be removed and be cast into the sea” and you do not doubt in your heart, you shall have what you have said."

PRAYER: Lord, I acknowledge the mustard-seed faith in my spirit and I refuse to yield to doubt and fear in Jesus’ name.
