, As House suspends ‘progress’ members

Story By: Akin Alex

The house of representatives was today thrown into commotion as a member of the house of representatives allegedly brought weapon suspected to be ‘tear gas’into the plenary session .
Confirming the development to members of the press, Committee Chairman on information, Hon. Eseme Eyiboh said the house member ‘name withheld’ had intention of disrupting today’s proceeding.
He however admitted that security operatives in the house use reasonable force on members of the house who refused to vacate the chambers after they were suspended.
The house had earlier suspended some members of the House of representatives for allegedly bringing the house to disrepute.

How interesting would it have been had he had the opportunity of opening the canister. It would have been hilarious seeing those members running helter and skelter in the hallowed(?) chamers perhaps with running noses and tearful eyes accomplished with a lot of sneazing.
