The recent calls for the senate president to resign, by the APC has been indeed a combination of comical and puzzling.

The reason for this is the groping in the dark for tangible grounds for this call and their final landing on the only thing they look foolish grasping on to: MORALITY

If they think that it is immoral for an elected senate president to continue in office when he enjoys the support of majority of the members of the house and has not violated their rules, then we must begin to get curious about their idea of morality.

If they think it is moral to give little or no attention to the crimianl killings going on in the middle belt, but invest all their mental efforts and energies in the removal of one senate president, then we have to be curious about their idea of morality.

Indeed, if they bring the ridiculous idea of morality into this matter (when in fact it does not fit just as virginity just doesn't have a place in a gathering of honorable grand mothers),

then we begin to understand why they have run the country aground and have the nerve to suggest all the ridiculous things they have wanted us as a country to believe.

From the idea that the heardsmen are from libya

To the idea that the social media bill should exist,

to the idea that the remedy to the fulani killings is only prayer

To the proposed law to regulate NGOs through a govt-owned NGo.

We see the reason why they with great confidence flounder about our political space.

It is because they don't have an idea what the true meaning of morality it.
